Project Details

 GREEN Engineering provided consultancy services together with AECOM to Izmir Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) for Sustainable Energy Climate Action Plan (SECAP) funded by EBRD.

The project is to develop a SECAP for IMM to reduce CO2 emissions by at least 40% against the baseline year – In the case of Izmir, this involves;

• Developing an updated / revised GHG mitigation plan, building on work carried out as part of the Izmir Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) in 2015,
• Increasing climate resilience (i.e. develop a climate adaptation plan), and
• Providing secure access to sustainable and affordable energy in a manner that is integrated with the mitigation and adaptation plans.
