Project Details

GREEN provided consultancy services together with AECOM to Rize Municipality Tekirdag Metropolitan Municipality and Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality for the World Bank’s City-Wide Disaster and Climate Risk Assessment project and currently provides consultancy services for Manisa Metropolitan Municipality. The project involves:

• Screening, preparing, and implementing infrastructure investments which consider climate and disaster resilience,
• Informing investment planning approaches that are based on assessment of disaster and climate risks,
• Building capacity in municipalities to identify, record, and assess multi hazard and climate risks to support the development of a resilient city approach, prioritized investment plans and enhanced preparedness, and
• Undertaking capacity development and advisory services in activities in municipalities that support implementation of the MoEU’s Guidelines for Municipalities for Urban Transformation strategies.
