Project Details

 GREEN provided consultancy services to AIIB for Izmir Metro Project II funded by EBRD. GREEN’s scope is;

• Reviewing Environmental and Social performance of the Project and to check its compliance with EBRD PRs, and with that of Turkey’s laws and regulations and to inform AIIB’s due diligence. GREEN has conducted the Environmental and Social Review (ESR) and produced an ESR
• Providing an update of the project delivery strategy, implementation status of the contract, amendments to the contract,
• Providing an analysis of cost, update on progress (financial progress, physical progress, cost to complete, time to complete). Based on the tender evaluation report and price analysis, commenting on the costs deemed abnormally low and how these have evolved,
• Overviewing and describing variation orders and changes to design occured to date and their corresponsing effects in terms of cost. Commenting if such changes have increased the value of the project. Commenting on implementation risks and mitigation measures to inform AIIB’s Technical and Procurement Due Diligence.
