Project Details

The EBRD finances the project of extending the existing metro line from Fahrettin Altay to Narlıdere. The project is 7.2 km long and consists of 2 tunnels and 7 stations.

Within the scope of this project, GREEN supports İzmir Metropolitan Municipality on:

• Preparation of construction tender documents,
• Control the construction tender according to EBRD rules,
• Submitting the reports requested by the EBRD from the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in a timely manner,
• Project management, timely actions necessary to determine and mitigate risks,
• Support on environmental and social issues,
• Preparation of progress payments and payments in accordance with the contract.
